PICSEL is a side project of Broken Fires. In their own words:

We started writing the BF second album. We wrote a lot of songs. Some great ones. We have thirteen wonderful and epic demos we are currently shaping and working on for the next full length record. It is going to be a banger.

HOWEVER… By accident we also managed to write 9 songs that don’t quite fit with the BF sound. The type of songs your mum definitely won’t enjoy. They are great! So, we started a side project. It is called PICSEL.

PICSEL has recorded a full-length album and will be playing some LOUD shows this Autumn to go along with this release.

MoonFace the Mage is the bardic alias of Folk-Rock solo artist Rhodri Welsh. It's been 20 years since the inception of the MoonFace moniker: Following the indefinite hiatus of his first band, Rhod opted to start writing and performing under a pseudonym to complement the finger-picking guitar style, broken-hearted strum and folk-fantasy confessions of this new solo acoustic project, so stole it straight from a magic faraway tree.
In 2005, Rhod joined forces with producer James Morgan to record and release a DIY EP titled 'Beyond All Recognition.' Whilst working full time in a Cardiff tailor shop, MoonFace continued to play live shows with festival appearances and a UK tour. Sharing the stage with artists such as Devendra Banhart, Seth Lakeman, Maria Taylor, and Hayseed Dixie. And in 2008, seamlessly evolving into a 4-piece band called 'MoonFace and the Familiar Shapes.'
Now, after a decade of creating a compendium of tales that traverse the realms of godless things and mountain kings in thematic existentialism, Rhodri Welsh and James Morgan join forces once again to record 'Astoria, to the Sea!' A full length LP to be released later this year under the updated moniker; MoonFace The Mage.

Inland Murmur are a Cardiff based indie band. Toby and Hannah, who front the band, grew up in rural Carmarthenshire and take a huge amount of inspiration from the Welsh landscapes of home. Their music treads a line from ambient nostalgia to indie crunch. The band formed in London, but quickly relocated to Cardiff. Their previous singles ‘Icarus’ , ‘Waterline’ and 'Freshwater' received BBC Radio play from Adam Walton and were featured on a number of blogs including ‘Get in Her Ears’ , ‘When the Horn Blows’ and 'Mystic Sons'. 'Glimpses Through Trees’ is Inland Murmur’s fourth single and was recorded in the depths of Pembrokeshire. Working with Owain Jenkins at StudiOwz the band have crafted a track full of indie sounds that reflects on the nature of South Wales and the uncertainty of starting a new chapter in their life.
