The Queensbridge-to-Los Angeles connection of TNT (rapper Big Twins and producer Twiz The Beat Pro) go straight for the throat with “Straight Face,” the raw lead single off their upcoming collaborative album, 'TNT.'

Twiz sets the tone with exactly the type of instrumental that Twins’ voice deserves: a grimy and unhinged backdrop built on heavy drums and a looping sample. It’s perfect for the Infamous Mobb member, who takes Internet rappers to task for their hollow rhymes while recognizing his own efforts (“I love a happy ending I can see it now/ Record sold out, I control the crowd”). 

He then passes the mic to his guest, Killer Ben of Durag Dynasty, whose verse is as snarling as his host’s. Ben blends ridiculous wordplay with a hilarious explanation of how his lyrics remain so on point (f*ck a life coach, right?) before the quick-hitting track fades out—and you’re left hitting the replay button.

“Straight Face” is now available for download off the iTunes' pre-order for 'TNT,' which is due out April 1st via Sound Unity Entertainment, an independent label based in L.A. and headed by DJ B.Original…keep your eyes and ears open!

To drop via Below System Records on June 16th This international hip-hop heist pairs German Production Duo JR & PH7 (Roc Marciano, Sean Price, Ras Kass) with New Jersey emcee trio, St. Joe Louis (Michael Cardigan, Tommie Chase and Elete Wright).

On the space-age soul tinged track the team get a stunning guest verse from Phonte (formerly of Little Brother) and melodic vocal assist from Tamisha Waden (who frequently collaborates with the Foreign Exchange). 

Coral Cadavers was written as a concept album of a “neo-noir psychological thriller about a woman’s descent into moral ambiguities against the backdrop of Los Angeles. 

“Invitation” is another impressive leak from the forthcoming album which has already dropped several digital singles including “Driven” (feat Roc Marciano), “Duck Duck Goose” (feat Rah Digga) and “I Want It All.”

Big Twins delivers one of his most emotionally gripping tracks to date with “Memories,” a heartfelt ode to lost family members, featuring Havoc, with stunning production supplied by Knxwledge.

Knx’s instrumental sets the tone for the track with layers of angelic samples paired beautifully with hard-hitting percussion. It’s Boom bap with a truly soulful tinge, and Big Twins’s raspy vocals complement the beat perfectly. He pays homage to the passing of his fraternal twin, Twin Scarface with thoughtful, gripping rhymes about losing his best friend and finally gaining the strength to live on.

Fellow Queensbridge heavyweight Havoc shares a similar story in his bars as he, too, sadly lost his own brother, Killa Black. Like Big Twins, Hav raps about pulling through the pain and continuing on with his life in spite of it all, and it’s hard not to get choked up when he refers to his late Mobb Deep partner, Prodigy, who passed away in June 2017: “I know you there with P and you just lightin’ up/ Up there in the heavens with your eye on us.” 

“Memories” is the second single taken from Twin’s upcoming 'Grimey Life' LP, which is available NOW through the emcee’s own imprint, Drumset Music Works via EMPIRE.
