Muhammad Afian aka Fizzy is an independent Audio Engineer and a Music Producer with six years experience in songwriting, audio mixing/recording and music producing. Afian is currently in his final year of a Diploma in Audio Production at LASALLE College of the Arts to be a certified Audio Engineer. As a producer, Afian is mainly inspired by hip hop artists and producers such as Talib Kweli, Swizz Beatz, Lupe Fiasco. Afian is also influenced by bands from the Nu-metal genres such as Slipknot and Rage Against The Machine. Afian is also a singer who performs solo with his own produced tracks and has performed for various events such as Neon Festival, Goal in the Dark Festival. Afian has done independent work such as freelance audio mixing, vocal recording and beat producing notably for a student’s Final Year Project at ITE in 2016/7. Afian is an experienced live sound engineer and has worked on several large projects whilst at LASALLE such as Summer School Improvise! (2019), an international collaborative project featuring Zurich University of the Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University and LASALLE. Afian’s ambition is to run a record label as he has experience in working as a musician, producer, freelance audio engineer and most importantly live sound and studio engineer.
