The world knows very little about Silviu Badea a.k.a. Montgomery Clunk, now simply <a href="https://www.facebook.com/CLNKD" target="_blank">C L N K</a>. Might be partly because of (relatively) remote Bucharest location, partly due to his recent re-branding of his own sound from the ambient hip-hop influenced beats to Actress-like dark techno inspired soundscapes.

Either way, this is all about to change very soon. How soon you ask? How about we give you an exact date: December 2nd. When C L N K's album <em>Black Ecstasy</em> drops on digital and vinyl via <a href="http://www.error-broadcast.com/" target="_blank">Error Broadcast</a>. Three-men producers/sound engineers/multi-instrumentalists outfit Mister Woo from Portsmouth, UK – namely Reset Robot, Jon Gurd and Tom Powell – release Black Eyes EP via our favorite UK’s Audio/Visual management agency – Derelicht next week, and the EP is already making waves in wide circles.

The remix of the signature track by the UK’s techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick, which was selected as Sasha’s tune of the week, takes the groovy original and flips it into a hypnotic stomper, while keeping the native vocals, just enough to sustain the dreamy atmosphere. Stream it in full right here.
