I'm putting together a new set to pitch for next summer: I'm exploring the theme of "empty spaces" through the medium of ambient and drone soundscapes. 

Each segment is made up of four parts: a field recording of an empty space, a granular synth pad, a synthesized drone, and some improvised guitar. The idea would be to combine several of these segments with some projected video (think photos and video of liminal spaces) to create a 30 minute set.

Let me know what you think. Does this sound interesting as an experimental set at say, Sound Symposium, MUTEK, etc.? Is there enough substance to the idea, and the demo?
