Welcome to Diamond City, the place I call my home, my sanctuary, 
and the place that's shaped who I am today. Diamond City encapsulates 
not only who I am as BIJOU, but as Benjamin, who I've always been 
originally through the start of this journey. The past two years putting 
this body of work together has been an emotional rollercoaster. From 
excitement, to complete sadness, I've felt every emotion one can feel. 
With the album now finished and being released into the world, I am 
feeling excited, but more thankful that I had the opportunity to write 
music that you can enjoy and share with others. I want to thank every 
single one of you who has ever taken the time to listen to my music, 
come to a show, or express some type of gratitude for what I do, you're 
all very special to me. I have to thank my team who's put up with me for 
the past 5 years and had my back through thick and thin. I love you guys 
so much and appreciate everything you've done for me. Lastly, I want to 
say thank you to my family and close friends who have always supported 
this passion of mine. You have always believed in what I'm doing and it's 
driven me to work as hard as possible, so I could make you all proud. 
I love you Mom, Dad, Sam, and the list goes on. This album gives you 
a little bit of my past, my present, and my future, so enough with the

Being a Wifisfuneral fan since his early days & a huge fan of South Florida rappers in general, it had been a dream of mine to work with such a talented artist. I'd envisioned this style of track for a few years now. Something raw, heavy, and true to both of our sounds. A record that was truly a hybrid between the world of Hip Hop and House. Benjamins came together quickly, as I had already finished the instrumental and felt his voice would be the perfect pair for this record. We sent it out and as soon as I got the vocals back I knew this was exactly what it needed. Big shout out to him and his team, stoked to get this one out!

My goal for this track was to bring together the sounds of G and Tech house. I really wanted to ensure it had a proper groove but also kept that vibe that most of my tracks really portray. Cubans Dolls vocals being so catchy really took this one to the next level and has made it a crowd favorite in my sets.

Westside is the follow up to Dr. Fresch & BIJOU's hit single Kung Fu that took over dance floors last spring. Featuring Phoenix native rapper Willy Northpole, the boys wanted to pay homage to their early G-House roots by enlisting a true OG. I met Dylan in 2013 after we booked him for his first performance in Phoenix. I was working as a promoter and was his driver for the night and for some crazy reason we hit it off and became friends. After countless sessions and numerous songs written together, we finally found a track that worked perfectly. We had been toying around with a few tracks for awhile now and something about WHOA just felt right. Big love and shoutout to him for the support over the years!
