I started the 'Swaggar' series close to mid-2013 per request of a good friend, Samantha Wagar, hence the title. It started off as just a recording of music that I own ,for you, or anyone, to listen to and hopefully enjoy. It has been a fun creative outlet for me. We've got E-mails. We also can smoke E-cigs...and some of us may even have an E-trade account. Well, now, we can listen to E-swag by my second guest, Phillip Stone. He is yet another friend of mine who lives out in Chicago and he knows his stuff. I have seen him play out on various occasions whether a warehouse party, a club or someone's backyard.  But he told me, "I wish I could just DJ this kinda stuff all the time".  I am happy to have been able to provide this outlet to him.

Swaggar #09 - "Live @ The Night Will Always Win" - phil stone

I recorded this right before I left for my trip on V-Day. Took me a few listens to decide whether or not I liked it enough as I did it on the fly in one take! (I'm starting to get alright at this 'mixing' thing). I was lucky enough to have a handful of, my friend, Johnny's records that he left at my place. I told him that some of his records went from NearMint to VG only now. Oops! #sorrynotsorry.  A couple of other songs, I heard out on a special night out!  #givecreditwhereitisdue. Some old classics in there, a new one by  Levon Vincent from his album (go get it!), a lot of Kai Alce's work and, even mister armand van helden!

I text a lot. but i cannot stop using the voice memo feature on whatsapp. Saves me the hassle of typing and a phone conversation. haha.  so i used a friend's silly voice memo to me cuz i think it suits the valentine's day theme nicely.

The first bollywood flick that i can remember watching was Namak Halaal. I remember sitting on the couch, probably not too far away from my mum. I had forgotten how much I loved the songs and the dances from this movie.  I think I got some bollywood disco, folk, an almost-country-sounding song and some others more recognisable 'western' songs thrown in to bland out the HOT masala flavor in here... <not really!>.
