"Almond Blossoms is from a group of several paintings made in 1888 and 1890 by Vincent van Gogh in Arles and Saint-Rémy, southern France of blossoming almond trees. Large blossom branches like this against a blue sky were one of artists favourite subjects. Almond trees flower early in the spring making them a symbol of new life. They represented awakening and hope."

Now firmly anchored in the mesmerizing embrace of Amsterdam's electronic music scene, bilgeco stands as a cross-cultural conduit, using his melodies to build sonic bridges that span the globe.

Stepped into the electrifying energy of Amsterdam’s nightlife, bilgeco commanded stages at established venues like WesterUnie and -the iconic- Loft alongside international artists under the Hunkering label. A collaboration with Berlin based Sound of Utopia took him back to his homeland, where he has been a resident in multiple editions of the Dream of Utopia Festival.

In his spellbinding sets, he embarks on nothing short of a magical journey: organic house blended with dreamy oriental melodies, powerful African percussions, bouncy house beats and spacey synths. He acts as a harmonious force, a navigator of sound who traverses borders, genres and cultures with finesse.
