Acomys was born from the idea of searching for sounds influenced by African and Oriental Arabian tribes, in a mixture of synthesised music. A peculiar and sovereign sound combining the everyday with the abstract, creating sounds and rhythms glitched with powerful basses and in this album in particular, something more melodic than in previous albums by the artist Desi Calatayud.

Acomys nace de la idea de buscar sonidos de influencia de tribus africanas y orientales árabes, en una mezcolanza de música sintetizada. Sonido peculiar y soberano combinando lo cotidiano con lo abstracto, creando sonidos y ritmos glicheados con bajos potentes y en este disco en especial, algo más melódico que en discos anteriores del artista Desi Calatayud.
