The Doomsday Cult is a Doom Rock/Metal music project formed in 2015 by Peter DeMuerto formerly of Senor Muerto.  While still retaining a lot of the dark and thrashy elements of SM, TDC seeks to create and explore new sounds and tones while working with fellow musicians to contribute to the project.

The end goal is to having working band structure, being able to tour and perform a great live experience.  The upcoming EP/Demo is to help recruit potential band members or guest contributors, and to gain new fans.

The idea behind TDC is ultimately a mix between fun dark thrash riffs, powergrooves, down-tuned major scales, and a focus on the bass guitar being more prominent and featured, driving sometimes the whole mood of song.  The dark side of life is usually what I write about, raging from voodoo /death cults, depressive isolation, sociopathic leaderships, existentialism, world and US political themes, etc. I also do the complete opposite and the writing can be ultra-punk and chaotic. 

Take a listen and expect more songs to be released through these channels until a record deal is set or something. The EP/Demo will be released in its entirety late Roctober.
