Album FUN WALKS mellow, indy folk song about lovers getting closer

Craig began fronting his own rock bands as both lead vocalist and lead guitarist at just 15. Shortly before graduating from high school, Craig had also backed up the likes of FREDDY CANNON and MARK FARNER (GRAND FUNK) in his hometown of Flint, Michigan.

In 1970-71, Craig opened for such headliners as TED NUGENT, ALICE COOPER, and BOB SEGER in his power rock group SONNY HUGG.

In the course of the next four years, Craig played and sang in many diversified situations, both performing and recording.

In 1975, Craig toured with Capitol recording group EDWARD BEAR shortly after their hit single, "LASTSONG", sold a million copies in the States. But by the summer of 1976, Craig had decided to move to Los Angeles in pursuit of a recording career.

Throughout 1977-78, Craig performed original material fronting his own band at such venues as The Troubadour; The Improvisation Club (for the LA. Songwriters' showcase), the L.A. Convention Center, the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and many others.

In 1979, Craig connected up with Bullets Production Company recording numerous vocal and guitar tracks for jingles and theme songs, including the vocal for the internationally syndicated cartoon show, "ANGEL. "

In 1980, Craig was a featured vocalist on two cuts of keyboardist Jakob Magnuson's second album, JACK MAGNET, for Warner Bros. This was a jazz fusion album which also featured the likes of FREDDY HUBBARD, STANLEY CLARKE, and BILL CHAMPLAIN of CHICAGO fame.

In 1982, Craig's talents were exposed at the annual MIDEM Festival in France which earned him a single's deal with a French label. The single, "OTHER GIRLS," was released shortly thereafter and made the charts in both France and Germany.

In 1983, Craig took first place in the Music City Song Festival's Vocal Competition for best R &amp; B performance and was first runner up in the MOR division.

In 1984, Craig recorded INTO THE NIGHT, a cutting edge pop/rock album for the newly formed ENCORE RECORDS.

In 1985, Craig’s original pop rock song VICTIM OF LOVE won song of the month on the weekly syndicated LOCAL LICKS show on KLOS in Los Angeles. This recording was entirely performed, produced, and recorded by Craig on a 4-track recorder in his living room. 

Then, in 1990, for the second time, Craig entered the Music City Song Festival, a national competition out of Nashville, this time earning him top honors for "Best Male vocal Performance, " and first place in the MOR/ Adult Contemporary Division.

In 2001, Craig was featured artist on the internationally distributed compilation CD, MUSIC FOR A BETTER WORLD with his power ballad GIVE ME THE STRENGTH.

And in 2012, Craig fulfilled a life-long dream by signing 12 of his best songs, and their master recordings, with FERVOR RECORDS – VINTAGE MASTERS, a premier, go-to publisher of vintage music for film and TV. FERVOR, and it’s parent company WILD WHIRLED MUSIC, has placed hundreds of songs in popular US television shows and films! 

Shortly after this signing with Fervor in 2012, eight more of Craig's songs were picked up by the company, making a grand total of 20! 

But this was only the beginning, for on November 20, 2012, FERVOR placed Craig's song, WORKIN' OVERTIME  on an episode of NBC's popular series PARENTHOOD! Over two minutes of the song was featured, putting Craig on the map as an important contributor of music for film and TV.

Then in April of 2013, two more of Craig's original songs were placed by FERVOR RECORDS! The first, LOVE IS MORE THAN A FEELING, was featured in a scene of FOX NETWORK'S new sitcom THE MINDY PROJECT. Then, only a couple weeks later, FERVOR scored again by placing ANGEL OF THE WILDERNESS in an episode of FX's premier TV series, THE AMERICANS! In both of these cases, two or more minutes of Craig's songs were featured!

With his foot now firmly in the door, Craig continues to write and record new music in his home studio near Detroit, MI, not only to expand upon his newly found career, but to continue on with his vision of making great music, raising the spirits of all those visiting his aesthetic universe.
