I drown in the dawn. 
Leaving behind a flower to soak up the morning sun. 
Her faded petal coat swaying with the early mist. 
Then she smiled back, waving goodbye to those dull days, replaced with a warmth that filled my cheeks as if her eyes could heal. 

She was back, and then, lost again.
