Marcel Vogel implorou a sua mãe que comprasse um par de toca discos e um mixer, para que então pudesse gastar seu dinheiro com discos e trabalhar em lojas de roupas ao invés de virar um médico ou qualquer outra profissão “normal”. Essa obsessão acabou levando a criação da Lumberjacks In Hell, uma label com um público fiel, que tem no catálogo diversos hinos de verão que passeiam sempre entre o House e o Disco. Além de pai e label head, Marcel também dedica tempo para suas produções próprias e remixes, além de ter lançado recentemente um mix CD para a BBE entitulado de “The Sound of Lumberjacks in Hell”.

Marcel Vogel begged his mother two decades ago to buy him those belt driven second hand turntables and a Gemini mixer, so he could waste all his money on vinyl and work in clothes stores rather than becoming a doctor or whatever normal people do for a living. Lucky for us that obsession eventually turned into his label Lumberjacks in Hell with a loyal following across the globe. While Lumberjacks leads a secret life of it's own with an ever surprising catalogue of summer filling anthems, Vogel shares his time between touring, being a father and surprisingly much time in the studio with his production partner Tim Jules working on remixes for the likes of Phenomenal Handclap Band, Hans Nieswandt or Girls of the Internet. While his own productions combine throwbacks of R&B, Disco and Detroit House. And as if the label, production and DJ work wasnt enough, he also put together a compilation and mix CD for BBE titled The Sound Of Lumberjacks in Hell.

For this mix expect the trademark Lumberjacks in Hell sound: festive, feel good disco, soulful house fillers capable of lifting up dancefloors around the globe.

Raised in Southern Ontario somewhere between Detroit and Montreal, Eddie C began his experiments in music some time in the late 80s.  He could well be described as one of the Slo Mo/ Edits/ Disco scene's heaviest hitters. In just over three years he's featured on or been the main attraction with over 25 original EPs and singles and countless remixes. Having graced labels like Jiscomusic, Endless Flight, Crue-L, Sleazy Beats, Wolf Music, 7 Inches of Love & Home Taping, amongst others, with his deep, lush and beautiful grooves, C is constantly name checked by every major playa this end of the underground. In 2011 he released his first full length album "Parts Unknown" on Endless Flight and later that year began releasing new projects on his own Red Motorbike imprint. The fact is, the guy hardly needs an introduction.
