[Verse 1 – The Old System]
They taught me to memorize, not to synthesize,  
Fed me facts like pills, no room to philosophize.  
One-size-fits-all, like a factory line,  
But my questions were cosmic — they called that “out of line.”

Teachers with hearts, yes — but bound by the bell,  
Curriculum cages, standardized hell.  
I needed a guide, not a warden of rules,  
But they trained obedience, not the breaking of tools.

About last week on the 23rd of August, there was a rare new noon that occurred a third time in 1 astronomical season, dubbed a "Black Moon".  Imagine such festivity to occur during this time (which usually occurs on a full moon, bringing out the best in us all).  I share with y'all an album half downtempo & hip hop, half breakbeat DnB & house.  My personal favorite track is definitely Aquarius Conant Gardens as a tribute to both Slum Village & J Dilla of Detroit
