Forgive Them

This is the 2nd piano piece co-composed by Danish musicians Jacob David and Søren Tarding; Moon Song is a simple pattern that evolves beautifully throughout the piece, eventually revealing its heartfelt melody - just like the moon slowly rising over the landscape before enveloping us in her glow. With David's subtle touch at the piano, this piece is irresistible.

Canadian minimalist instrumental label Moderna Records presents their annual piano day collection featuring twelve pieces from composers and pianists around the world. Their 2023 compilation 'Fractals' is centred around the upright piano, with a curation focused on the label’s signature melodic minimalism. The contributions were selected with great care, while showcasing each pianist’s unique flair on the instrument. Fractals includes pieces from Akira Kosemura (JP), Hiroco.M (JP), Jacob David (DK), Eik Octobre (DK), Ole-Bjørn Talstad (NO), Julia Gjertsen (NO), Sten Erland Hermundstad (NO), Mike Lazarev (UK), Pêtr Aleksänder (UK), Jozef De Schutter (CH), Felix Rösch (DE) and Nat Bartsch (AU). What started as a new string template test became a little afternoon ditty.

Emergence

Originally composed for Thanassis Triaridis' play "Zyklon or the Destiny", this haunting score by Manos Milonakis returns with re-recorded parts, new mixing and mastering by Christos Megas, and stunning artwork by Tilman Z.

Inspired by themes of confinement, dark energy, and temporal suspension, Zyklon combines classical strings, evocative piano, music boxes, and cosmic electronic textures. Featuring Müriel Bostdorp (piano), Christina Georgeli (violin), Elisso Papastrati (violin), Thodoris Papadimitriou (cello), Björk Oskarsdottir (violin), and collaborations with Jacob David (piano) and Gregoire Blanc (theremin), the album bridges the past and present in a unique sonic narrative.

The Desperation Of Your Eyes

Dear friends,

I’m excited to share “Once Upon A Time”, the first piece from my Music & Score Series. This composition has been with me for many years and remains a favorite—not just for me, but for many listeners. Every time I play it, it feels like embarking on a sentimental journey, a moment to drift away in thought.

Some of you have expressed interest in playing it yourselves, which truly makes me happy! That’s why I’m making the sheet music available for you. It’s a relatively easy piece to play but leaves plenty of room for emotion and personal interpretation.

Bill Brown is an award-winning composer and creative force behind the musical scores of fan-favorite TV, film and video game thrillers, dramas and super-hero adventures. Widely recognized for his experimental approach to developing a unique sound and for creating dynamic orchestral landscapes, Bill is best known for composing the compelling musical backdrop for all nine seasons of the hit CBS series CSI: NY and also for creating cinematic game soundtracks for Wolfenstein, the Rainbow Six series, Lineage 2 and Captain America: Super Soldier. He also composed scores for feature films including The Devil's Tomb (Cuba Gooding Jr.), Brother's Keeper, Desiree, Negative, Layover, as well as the modern noir thriller Rushlights, and recently created an epic, multifaceted score for Season 2 of the Post Apocalyptic thriller "Dominion" for Universal (SyFy).

Nominated for Best Original Music at the Canadian Video Game Awards, Captain America: Super Soldier (Marvel) exemplifies his creative talent for developing thrilling, complex orchestral music that combines heroic themes with eerie, pulsing cinematic atmospheres. Bill also received a Golden Reel Nomination for Best Music for Lineage 2: Gracia – The 2nd Throne, and has won awards from the ITVA, BMI, as well as the Music4Games Editor's Choice award. His scores have also received award nominations from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, L.A. Weekly, and the Game Audio Network Guild. He is represented by Randy Gerston at Fortress Talent Management, Los Angeles.
