ADVOCATING FOR SOCIAL CHANGE

Beyond the decks, BK is a proud LGBTQ+ advocate and a leading voice for equality in Asia. A dedicated ambassador for Singapore’s Pink Dot Pride event, he has been featured in The New York Times, Reuters, The Washington Post, and Bloomberg News for his activism. His historic challenge to repeal Singapore’s S377A law, which criminalized gay sex, helped pave the way for its overturn in 2022—a landmark moment in LGBTQ+ rights. 

From performing on the world’s biggest stages to championing social change, BK continues to push boundaries—both in music and beyond.

Barry Harris was the first club DJ in the world to write, produce and perform a Worldwide Top 5 hit; “I Beg Your Pardon” by an act he named Kon Kan.

“I Beg Your Pardon”, became an international Top 5 hit around the world, garnering a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for Best Dance Recording in 1990.

In 1998 Barry relocated to Los Angeles to mastermind the remix team Thunderpuss producing more than 40 #1 Billboard Dance remixes including hits for major label recording artists Madonna, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion & Donna Summer to name a few.

Kimberley was the voice behind "Feel the Love", the UK smash hit that topped both the dance and pop charts.

She has also worked with several other HIV/AIDS related charities, including the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, YouthAIDS, Nashville CARES, and the Davy Foundation. In 2007, Locke was presented with the Red Ribbon Award in recognition for her extensive charitable efforts as an HIV/AIDS activist.

Locke didn’t stop with just her music career from the years since “Idol.” She has been a staple in the entertainment industry having signed a modeling contract with Ford Models wherein she landed a two-year deal with clothing retailer Lane Bryant and became the face of their national Seven7 Jeans Designer Collection campaign. She went on to appear in VH1’S “Celebrity Fit Club” where she lost 40 lbs. and became a national spokesperson for Jenny Craig. She maintains a healthy and fit lifestyle and inspires women across the country with their weight loss and sense of empowerment.

Nashville native Locke received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Management from Belmont University. Kicking her business aspirations into high gear, she founded her own entertainment company in early 2011 called I AM Entertainment. This new endeavour allows her to not only take full control over her own career but to aid other artists in the development of their brands and products.

Pepper MaShay is a five-time Top 10 Billboard charting artist who was influenced by the 70s music scene. Pepper changed her life’s journey from journalist to singer after getting on stage to perform her own songs and finding an instant connection with the audience. Starting out as a session singer in Los Angeles, Pepper sang for the likes of Tina Turner, Cher, Mick Jagger, Keb’ Mo’, and Celine Dion. 

In 2000, Pepper transitioned from session singer to solo artist with her international charting single “Dive In The Pool”, which has always been considered the unofficial single for the multi-award winning Showtime series Queer As Folk.
