The Chicago-based duo delivers their own blend of ‘70’s AM Radio pop and a dash of outlaw country. Housesitters’ Kevin Tihista and Mary Jane Lee like bittersweet songs, the saddest lyrics set against beautiful, even cheerful melodies. Their dreamy sound brings to mind Harry Nilsson, The Carpenters and Townes Van Zandt. The pair creates their full band sound with just the two of them on guitar, piano/keys and lush boy/girl vocal harmonies.
