An aggressive synthwave band, dancing between darksynth, cyberpunk, post-industrial, and synthwave metal.  Although they view themselves as a progressive electronic rock band, calling their style "synthrock".

Bill Minnery and Brad Bridges -- Scoobie & Shaggy, have been rocking in bands and countless shows since 2006.  They formed the ever-remembered ROUGH JUSTICE, toured together with UNIVERNIA and now are a formidable and oddly-rare duo of drummer and guitarist going by the simple yet catchy name BILL and BRAD.  They have an arsenal of original progressive rock tunes with major influences coming from Van Halen, Metallica, Dream Theatre and Jimi Hendrix.   Apart from their original face-peeling tunes you will hear covers from Van Halen, Metallica, Led Zepplin, the Beatles, White Stripes, Elvis, AC/DC, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix and many more.  Their rocking credentials include being the opening act for the 2019 WTFest Rock Festival, being part of  the 2019 Mayor's Levee at the Brantford Armouries and headlining both the 2018 'FIND YOUR SPIRIT FEST’ and the 2018 'Downtown Music Fest' at Harmony Square in Brantford. Having played together for almost 15 years, there’s a long history of shows.  Highlights include:  the Sanderson Centre, the Corktown Pub, the Best Western Hotel, Waterford PumpkinFest, Willow Lake, the Opera House, Delhi Harvest Fest, Jeffery’s Lounge, Manny’s Place, Branch 90 Legion, Tansley's, Upper Thames Brewery, the Norfolk County Fair, the Polish Hall, Frankies Hometown Tavern, the St. George Legion, the Honest Lawyer, Two Doors Down, Brando’s, the Dairy Capital Cheese Festival, the Smiling Buddha in China Town, the Norwich Museum and they continue to have a heated schedule at a variety of festivals, fairs and local establishments across Ontario.

One of their crowing glories was receiving the incredible gift of having their own one hour rock show aboard the Valor Carnival Cruise Ship in 2011 when Bill was just 19 and Brad was 21.  

They have a myriad of rocking shows under their creative belts including a host of festivals and events throughout the Lakes and Southern Ontario. They've also performed in a Jimi Hendrix tribute show.  They are currently joining forces with Juno Award winner – Mike Trebilcok from the legendary Killjoys in a separate project called SEMETARY SPAWN.

I was a neuroscientist living and working in Japan, that realized that I really wanted a change in live and decided to start working towards building a career in music.  I am lyricist and singer, and I love collaborating with different musicians to make nice music or simply networking with like-minded music folks!

Besides that, I am studying Music Business and Music Production and Technology student in Berklee College of Music. I want to work, helping artists to make the most of their work! I have a great project going on! Check out my site!

SIVLE (Elvis spelt backwards and pronounced civil) is a versatile Rock and Roll band from Brantford Ontario, Canada, belting out an arsenal of legendary cover tunes from the 50s - today as well as many originals.  SIVLE's regular show of songs from Yesteryear and Today features a crowd-induced trip down memory lane of hits from Elvis, Lady GaGa, Miley Cyrus, Pink, Janis, CCR, the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Jimi Hendrix and much well-known radio hits from the last 60 years!!!

The eclectic and diversified trio is female-fronted by powerhouse Joan Minnery. On lead guitar/vocals is Bill Minnery, and Dan Taylor fills out the trio on guitar/vocals/drums. SIVLE also has a 4-piece full band unit.  SIVLE has an active loyal following called their SIVLEization.

SIVLE was formed in 2017 with opportunities that include being the opening act for the 2019 WTFest Rock Festival, featured entertainment at the 2019 Brantford Mayor's Levee and headlining both the Find Your Spirit Fest & Downtown Music Fest in 2018. SIVLE also appeared at the 2022 Summer Street Festival in Woodstock. The popular band has packed rooms across Ontario and most notably they were featured at the 2023 World Music Festival in Mississauga. 

Their brand-new album "Bless This House" features seven (7) original tunes all written by members of the band.  The songs highlight Joan Minnery on lead/backup vocals, Bill Minnery on lead vocals and guitar/bass and Dan Taylor on lead/backup vocals as well as guitar/bass and keys.  Bob Minnery -- bigEZbob appears on banjo on Bless This House.

The uniqueness of the album -- Bless This House is that it features several vocal tracks from the two guys in the band, as most of Sivle's work has always been with Joan as the lead vocalist.  

Bill's songs "Epiphany" and I Can't Find My Way" reflect his guitar virtuosity in Progressive Rock/Blues, Dan's songs "Looking at You" and "Feels Like Home" lean towards Soft Rock with likeable hooks, while Joan remains true to her roots with Country Rock in the title track "Bless This House" about her father and her autobiographical "I'm Not Giving Up This Mic. Then the band veers off in an old school Psychedelic Pop anthem in "Sing IT Like Pearl." 

Their albums feature songs that Joan, Bill and Dan have written independently and then arranged together as a trio while sprinkling a glitter of guitar-laden rock and pop into the finalization of 3 very unique styles.  

Sivle's new album was recorded in the fall of 2023 and produced in Brantford Ontario Canada by Tyler Wilson -- who also appears as a supporting musician on several tracks

When the full band is out, legendary female musician Jamie Reinhart joins in on bass and vocals. Joan's brother Bob Minnery aka bigEZbob is also out periodically as a guest on rhythm acoustic. Bob has been instrumental in writing all of the first recordings of original tunes as well as their sister, Anne Minnery.

SIVLE has two distinct shows. The first is the full-piece band showcase with drums, bass, guitar and vocals, which is preferred for bars, taverns, bigger stages and outdoor festivals. The other is the more scaled-down three-piece acoustic, which goes over very well, in particular for smaller stages, matinees and legions. A SIVLE show features music from Elvis, the Beatles, CCR, Pink, Lady Gaga, and Janis Joplin and includes a wide variety of hits from Today and Yesteryear. There is something for everyone.

the SiNG iT Brantford 2020 Student Compilation Album!!

Featuring 16 local singer-songwriters from Brantford & Brant County, ages 6 - Adult -- in an all-original music collaboration album of Pop, Country, Folk, Christian and Children's Contemporary. 
 
During the Pandemic amidst the shut-down isolation in March-June; a group of vocal music students, ages 6-16 and a few adults, began writing their own original songs via Zoom and FB Messenger links with their teacher, Joan Minnery.  When lessons were permitted to happen in person again -- the song writing continued.  
 
Their collaboration album released on Saturday December 12th, 2020 is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google, YouTube and on all major music platforms.  
 
The 20 original songs cover a kaleidoscope of themes and feelings: ranging from love, loss, relationships, pets, self-awareness, pandemic frustrations and overall appreciation for family and friends.  With the help of Joan, they have each written their own words and music to create a truly eclectic musical extravaganza.  While the album is predominantly young girls; there are two adult ladies and one brave adult male appearing in the mix.
 
The SiNG iT Brantford 2020 Compilation Album champions the stick-to-it-of-ness of a myriad of students who found a niche during the shutdown and took their musical journeys on a brand-new exciting path.  The students wrote, sang, produced and published all of the songs on the album.
