Just in case you thought pop music might be a case of the bland leading the bland, along comes the twistedly brilliant sound of Bryn Phillips to prove you wrong. Drawing on genres such as glam, motown and punk, Bryn is an artist of rare warmth and bite.

With influences from Harold Pinter to Patti Smith, Bryn writes kitchen-sink drama in song form, like a virtuoso, and with lyrics that perfectly capture the zeitgeist. Well known for throwing outlaw parties in supermarkets and 24 hour launderettes, Bryn left his previous band to form 'The Big Society' in the autumn of 2010. 

After his début at the UCL student occupation last year and having fitted himself out with a catalogue of national anthems things began to move quickly. Bryn recently played in session to over a million people worldwide on London's Resonance FM and has been busily playing various fringe festivals around The UK and Germany this summer. 

With music that's anthemic and truly captivating, even at this early stage support is building by the day. With overtones of Sparks or Bowie, Bryn's is pop music of the highest calibre. Bryn Phillips is set to take off. Join him.
