Norty North Movement is collective of around 20 individual artists who have collaborated together on an album representing their unique Northland style and bringing back real hip hop. Their sound is a mixture of hip hop, reggae, roots and soul, influenced by growing up in rural communities from Whangarei to Moerewa to Kaitaia and day to day struggles faced within their communities. They use their music to uplift others in similar situations and inspire them to chase their dreams
