After growing up in Canada and touring as the guitarist in a metal band, Dave relocated to the UK where he continues his musical journey.

I am a river scientist for my profession and love it. I enjoy composing for environmental audio vlogs and blogs Any audio projects around the environmental sector and video game genres I would be very interested with working in partnership.  

Composing, if you have an idea about an emotion you wish to convey and do so by the form of media of music to your audience, you are on your journey to be a composer. Watching the Band of Brother 'Main Theme' was my first step into composing when I was 13. I knew it was something I wished to pursue for personal interest, and if anything bigger happened as a consequence of creating the music I wished, great.  I had guitar lessons during high school but no formal orchestration training during any part of my life. Luckily, my hearing is very precise and that led me to pick up East West Orchestra Gold in 2011 after finishing university. My composition 'The Calling', on this channel, was the 2nd piece of music I ever orchestrated. During my 20's sport took priority, my 30's will be a decade where music is given a lot more time.
