Steffi & Jack are a folk duo based in Greenwich, London.  Brought together through their training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and a shared passion for traditional music, they bring an exciting and contemporary approach to this genre.  They have performed at venues and events across the country and throughout Europe, including major folk festivals.  Whether it’s performing as a duo or as an increased line-up, alongside a range of other established musicians, their sound is bold enough for a main stage yet intimate enough for an acoustic setting. 

Also influenced by her classical training, Steffi Dykes uses whistles and recorders to create a very fresh and distinctive sound. Ultimately her love for folk music is at the core of her playing, keeping the roots of the music strong at heart.  

Having experimented in many genres and styles, Jack Pennifold found a love of folk music that has remained a focus throughout his life. Using the skills and discipline learnt in his classical training, Jack takes a fresh perspective on the folk music that has influenced his playing from the start.

Avisya Rhythm is a London based ensemble that has grown from exploring different ways of using rhythm in writing and playing music. The band's music draws inspiration from cornish culture, from huge landscapes to dramatic historic events to it's rich musical heritage. The group's sound is a groove centred blend of jazz, folk and world music, performed by some of the most in demand musicians on the London scene.
