They've been arguing for 30 minutes...
My head is starting to hurt...

Skate [Horrible:Failure] — ...Then have come we *felt* something!? This world... The people in it... 
...They can't be!? Right?... Everyone... Well, it can't be everyone, right?

War [Good:Failure] — Then, what about the *other* stuff? 

Skate [Horrible: Success] — ...Nothing can be "controlling" us. If it were - We would *absolutely* pick up on that. Our choices are ours, and there's nobody who can drive them into a different direction. 
... Say, is this what they fought? This creeping sensation on your back. The ring at the edge of your psyche. Eyes, many eyes staring right through your head each time we talk about something "important". Its sickening. But you can't let it go away.
But how does one even begin to fight... "This" ?

War [Amazing:Success] — That is a fact of this world. I cannot reject it - You cannot. We must press on. Not thinking too much, it's a horrible time for that. We'll just spiral again, and again, and again.

Skate — Hm....

...CHECK:SUCCESS...?

Skate [Bad:Success] — ...Yet, you can't help but do it again. 
The last cohesive memory you have is arriving from the ocean. A storm of haze comes over. Just what happened to us?..
Fuck... No living creature should be thinking about this
This doesn't feel *right* !?

War [Irredeemable: Success] — It's like thinking about the closing of sleep. How parts of your brain shut off one by one, and as the conscious slips away, there's something*distant* that you think about
 ...And you're thrust back by the uncomfortable sensation you've created in your head...
Wait, since was the last time we've even slept?

Skate [Good:Success] — We don't really sleep. We don't really have "dreams". I doubt anyone in this world does. Considering... 

War — We should just leave. Whatever's on the other side of that portal is gonna take us "somewhere else" anyway. The truth doesn't matter now, we have to press on. 

Skate [Mediocre: Success] — No... No no NO! How can we know what's on the other side!? What awaits us from the dark? Truth matters. It *always* does. 
Maybe, if we stay here we can... Talk to Maize more? I don't know... Find and talk to The fox again? Maybe make them join the...

Skate — ...?

I don't want to stay. 
But I dont want to leave them...
Yet, I don't want to *be* here
How am I supposed to take this?...

Skate [Horrible: Success] — You know, many things needed to happen for *us* to happen. A lot of *good* things. 
You and I, getting close
Then me, finding War
Making us *Sto*
It seems childish, but...
Things... *Worked out* 
We... *Worked out*
Even if it "didn't really happen"
You still *feel* as if it happened
...Isn't that beautiful?
Nothing can touch you, *they* can't. 
They can't change who you are, who *we* are. 
And who we are... Are a "lamplighter"
For when he puts out his lamp, he sends the glass, or the star, to sleep. That is a beautiful occupation. And since it is beautiful, it is truly useful.
In a way, we are more real *than* real. Everybody in this world is. Being made of metal doesn't change the fact that... They're still beautiful. They're still *living*

Skate [Horrible: Success] — ...Fuku. Fuku listen to me. Its fine, it's fine. I'm still here. Nobody is going away. I don't know what came over me in that moment. Let's just... Sit here for a moment, okay? We'll shut up for now.
