My remix of "The New Regime" - Remission Of Guilt. I used only the lead vocals from the original, but I changed the melody in places to fit my needs. Everything else was created by myself. Mixed,edited and mastered in Cubase 5.

Staytus: Redefining the Sound of Modern Industrial Music

Musician. Artist. Producer. These words are often overused, but Staytus— the musical alter-ego of recording visionary Sam Grundemann—embodies all three in a way that defies convention. With each release, she pushes the boundaries of sound, emotion, and storytelling, crafting immersive sonic landscapes that captivate and unsettle.

Her latest single, “Suburban Gothic”, the second track in her series, takes inspiration from Matthew Gray Gubler’s cult-classic horror films. Produced by Matt McJunkins (A Perfect Circle, Puscifer), the song blends electro-industrial and nu-metal elements with Twisted Frames eerie, deeply personal lyrics about paranoia, fear, and confronting the past. “Suburban Gothic” follows “68 Kill”, an unapologetically raw track that explored emotional manipulation and reclaiming one’s power, further showcasing Staytus’ unfiltered approach to songwriting.

Before launching the Twisted Frames series, Staytus gained attention with “Can You Hear Me?”, produced by Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails, Slayer), which tackled themes of isolation and inner turmoil. She continues to build momentum following her 2022 debut Disease of the Mind and her sophomore album Wasteland of Broken Hearts.

At the intersection of cutting-edge production and raw emotional storytelling, Staytus transforms trauma, heartbreak, and resilience into sound—offering an intense, non-neurotypical perspective that speaks to a generation navigating darkness and self-discovery. With her boundary-pushing vision and fearless sonic experimentation, Staytus is carving out a space as one of the most compelling voices in modern industrial music.

Gift of vision is a solo project based in the idea of playing different music genres, not necessary mixing them, but realizing music as all human emotions can variate .
Music is very extended and rich, is made for everyone, for listen on different situations, moods and places, so if there is a whole world full of music, every musician should just play it without any compromise to belong to any label, genre or specific concept.
The name of the project is taken from the Carlos Castaneda’s books. The gift of vision is a state of mind, soul and body. The songs are not always related to the book concept.

Born in 1966, I've been playing piano's, air-powered reed organs, and early (circa 1970's) electronic keyboards since I was little. I've been making my own "music" since I was in my early 20's (do the math - the mid to late 80's). I released my own CD of music back in 1992. Though life and its' trials has pushed and pulled me in different directions, I have continued to experiment, play, record, and even complete the odd project for someone else here and there. Of course, I've only been doing this as time to do so has presented itself - which of late had been very sparse.

Anyway, please listen to and try to at least appreciate that which I've uploaded to share with the world. These are glimpses into my mind and soul at the time each was composed and produced.
