We had to bring in one Acid part and weren't allowed to use any FX plugins besides Effector and Distructor, son no Parametric EQs, no Mastering via Maximus etc.

Being a bedroom producer with no actual monitoring system whatsoever I found it incredibly hard to mix this sh*t as it sounds completely different on my TV speakers, my stereo system and my Smartphone (so far for the well-known part). I left it with what sounds best on my stereo system.

I was deeply affected by my experience playing Night in the Woods, a long-form visual novel with platforming elements about depression, mental illness, and the death of rural small-town life in modern "Late Capitalism" America.

This track is a remix of the one that plays when Mae views Dusk Stars with her former teacher, Mr. Chazokov. The original was written by Alec Holowka.
