Although the first Marquis Hawkes records were often raw, hard-charging affairs, the British-born, Berlin-based veteran has settled into a sunnier groove over the years. "Instrument of Thought" is taken from his upcoming album for Houndstooth, 'The Marquis of Hawkes,' which is slated to drop on August 24. Ahead of that, the upbeat and soulfully swaying tune debuted on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

The Hypnotist- Rainbows in the sky(parkys 2009 mix)

Spectrum were David Morley and Renaat Vandepapeliere who together produced this Techno beast in 1990 that was released on R&S Records (CAT# RS 920). The release was a 4 track EP with each one outstanding but, this was the pick for me.
