The 4th edition of the Summer Tape is here !

You know the drill, these tracks have been recorded live during the summer 2021, only using the 6 tracks of the old trusty Elektron Monomachine SFX60, mostly in one take.

For some reasons this year edition was the hardest to make, and I think it will close this series.

Thanks to you who are still curious about this work.

Binary Digit - Tape Brunch

After a couple of killer reissue outings, @seven-hills-records mints the SHR catalogue with its first original release. French producer @binarydigit is at the helm with a six-track EP called 'Never Owned A 303'.

Opener 'Acid Racing Head' is a compelling introduction to the record, as Binary Digit distils styles from emotional acid to dramatic synthwave into his own heady formula.

Grenoble becomes a special place for those who stay.
The warm and empty streets now belong to them,
and nights of boredom can lead to beautiful mornings.

This is the third volume of this project started on summer 2016.

Each piece was written quickly and recorded live,
using only the Elektron Monomachine sfx60.
