The Cougar Room EP was conceived in a white 1998 volvo station wagon packed to the gills and headed for LA from Seattle, WA. The songs on this album, composed of cello, vocals, synths, and other natural and artificial sounds, are a nod to star signs, love, and the ocean.

Soundbath 2

Daniel Bindschedler is a Portland/Brooklyn based Cellist who has built a reputation for creating lush soundscapes and, improvised, ambient textures on the cello. 

Bindschedler uses a Stamiz Cello from Prague and a curation of effects pedals. 

He has recorded with many artists across the country and is known as long-time musical partner of songwriter Robin Bacior — like the David Rawlings to her Guillian Welch.
