About release

It has been a long time since the release was planned to be issued that is why I would like to thank everybody who believed in Nu Aura.

'One Different Compilation' is an attempt to make something special.. 
One of the release ideas is to make a unique illustration for every track. A half of the illustrations was made by the illustrator Anna Smolina, the other part is represented by separate works of absolutely different illustrators.

The image author's name is indicated on each illustration, as well as the name of composition, which inspired an artist to create an image.

There is a lot of ambient in 'One Different Compialtion' but the main thing we wanted to achieve is to get you interested in listening the compilation during the whole one hour and a half, eventually to make the music or its little part catch you as well as it does us.

Originally started out as a DJ spinning for many years, multi-talented Wouter Thomassen is running Zen Mechanics project since 2002 and constantly collaborates with the finest artists of the psytrance scene while playing repeatedly at the biggest festivals and parties around the world.
His legendary full-length album "Holy Cities" came out on Neurobiotic Records 6 years after starting Zen Mechanics, following several compilation tracks and remixes on different labels like Iboga, Nano, Alchemy or even Aleph Zero Records. From chill-out/ambient to progressive and fullon oriented psytrance tracks there is a lot of diversity in Zen Mechanics's discography which made him one of the most awaited headliners in Ozora Festival 2013. Zen Mechanics played his live set Wednesday, the first afternoon on the Main Stage, join us in living it again!

It was early 2013 when inner landscapes finally got
audible. Martin van Rossum aka Martin Nonstatic
moved to Cologne while Jens from Essen sent a
pleasant release offer. Several EPs, remix and
packaging projects got finished and the favorite
synthesizer was back on duty again, leading to the
first track „Inner Landscapes“ which in turn also
provided the album's title.
Martin took 14 months scrutinizing his workflow
involving both software and hardware to invent fresh
track concepts for his album. Constantly inspired by
the Rhenish environment with all of its movements
and encounters the album concentrated on those
„inner landscapes“. Playful and liberated he
combined field recordings with soundscapes, voices
and nature sounds into deep sequence paths.
Wave noises and Indonesian voices trickle onto the
album’s opening track „Behind The Window“ and the
dub oriented „Gilli Nangu“ while a fine dusty
crackle meets deep dub chords and sonic ideas
salvaged from earlier live sessions and synthesizer
recordings throughout the album, supported by
electro-ambient and minimal beat structures and
alternating rhythmic patterns, clearly showcasing
Martin’s extensive experience of both analyzing and
producing ambient and dub techno sounds.
Embedded between its otherworldly opening and a
dreamy outro are 11 aural landscapes forming a 74
minute tour-de-force, and after its long production
phase the emotional waveforms and clear ideas of
Martin Nonstatic’s „Inner Landscapes“ have finally
found their place and are ready to be heard on the
outside.

now seen from the distance;
to the arbitrary consequences and beautiful mutations of today;
and to the unstoppable uproar of the city."

Javier sees a “3-eyed inexpressive and ambiented, psychedelic chameleon shaman who broadcasts music through meditation and saturates on colours when doing it” behind Kizen. His color for HOY is accordingly a bright Yellow. To us, Kizen remains White; standing for all the possibilities that exist before an event takes place. In either way, may it be the mutation into another form, or transformation into another emotion or color - it is a state of absolute freedom. What will happen, no one knows until that special moment that only music is able to create.

Hello friends!
We are glad to present our thirteenth release from the French producer Enchord 'Wuxia Part I'. Enchord is an engineer in the field of 'Internet of things', which for a long time didn't know how to express his deep ideas in music that originated in him because of years of love for the deep sound. The crucial role played the release of 'The Deep Collection' from Pablo Bolivar, which has blurred the lines between genre that he most of all knew, and something otherworldly. Thus began a journey through the mysterious world of dub-techno. In 2015 he started making music in Ableton. 'Wuxia Part I' this is a dub sound, which you can find not only the classical elements, but also to feel something illusory and fleeting, what is usually called a highlight from the author.

KRAKE is an annual Berlin based festival for challenging electronic music. Krake means octopus and the festival is organised in a comparable way: reaching out to selected locations during one week present- ing the best in electronic music, whatever style it is. The festival is not huge, not expensive, does not have big sponsoring deals or four different colour area passes.
It’s just a good and so far successful try to bring back the focus on artists who dare to step off the beaten tracks. Starting off a label that followed the idea of the festival was only a matter of time for us.

So now it’s done. Here we go with the first release!

Krake 001 is a CD/LP compilation that features tracks by artists who played in 2012 for us. A few of them have been released on other labels before, but the bigger part of the material is exclusive. Some of the tracks were even recorded live at our festival.
There are dark atmospheric drones by the likes of Thomas Köner, Shrubbn!!, Cassegrain and Dadub, sweet melodic pieces by Ulrich Schnauss, Bersarin Quartett, Kid606 and Barker, a bass heavy live recorded jam session by Tim Exile, mechanical grooves by Perc and Swarm Intelligence, melancholic epics by Goner, Alex Smoke and Lakker, and last but not least a sweet minimalistic dub track by grandmaster Pole.
