Recorded at the outdoor barn stage at the Shameless Vicennial Festival at Forest Park in Darrington Washington. Headliners for the weekend were John Tejada and J.Phlip. 

This wasn't just any festival, it was a family reunion of the beautiful, weird, and supportive community that the Shameless crew has built and become known for over the past 20 years. It was an absolute honor to get down with so many of my friends, fellow DJs, peers, and mentors.

Recorded this one for the drive to lovely Buena Vista, CO to witness a few dear friends tie the knot. On my continued quest to learn the craft o-djing on the rotary mixer and CDJ's.  Month 4 of the new hobby. 

This vibe is House. A little house, latin house, afro house, hip-hop vibes -- all my favorite flavors of house.

This is the closing set of Sacred Hearts NYD 2024!
This was truly a magical time and a special set I got to play this year. This community is family to me. The closing track created an amazing moment I will cherish forever. wow!

Dropping in

This set was an indulgence of spicy baselines, sultry drums & slick vocals to get those hips moving.

Played at Bazique Festival 2024 at the Cafe Caliente Stage, Saturday night 20:00 - 22:00 pm.

This set was a bit of a deviation from my normal sound to include some cuban dance & latino grooves to be in alignment with the sound the stage was going for.

Thirty five years of professional DJing this summer! 

I have spent many past posts musing about the early days, so I will spare you words of nostalgia today. Instead, I want to hit you with the kind of set that I feel is an accumulation of my past experiences of what works on a dance floor, what I personally love, and which of those sounds I feel connect with what's happening today. 

Music has largely stopped giving us anything truly new in the past decade, but the absence of newness doesn't mean we shouldn't discover music that is new to US, and sometimes we should also remind ourselves of the great eras, genres and grooves we may have forgotten. So today, instead of giving you newness, I present to you my musical opinion on contemporary timelessness.

I would personally dance my ass off to this set. LMK if you would too.

2024; EMBRACE THE RETRO

Space Banana is a wonderful, small club with big sound in Boise, Idaho. I was lucky to DJ there on the Saturday night for Treefort Fest  2024 and took the opportunity to play some pumpier, new and well-loved favourites and a couple of cheeky edits of mine to a super fun crowd.

I am tinkering with my husand's CDJ's, rotary mixer and turntables. He's the DJ (data.source) in the house and a budding producer too. I used to DJ records in the 90's and decided to start playing music I like to record sets I can listen to while working. 
My first love is atmospheric (liquid) drum and bass but I love tunes in many genres. All the reposts are of friends or strangers that inspire me.
