Biorhythm’s debut album is a deeply personal collection of music which explores the themes of time, restlessness, and reflection. Life Time blends spacious, intricate rhythms with lush melodies, creating a listening experience that is as immersive as it is emotive. The music demonstrates a forward-thinking approach, while its nostalgic undertones give it a timeless feel.

Tracks like “Future State Of Mind” and “Searching For Sunrise” are the essence of autonomic distilled into its purest form, while the aptly named “Sleep Pattern” aims to place the listener in a trance with it’s hypnotic 6/4 time signature and evocative melodies. Each track is a masterclass in restraint, with Biorhythm carefully balancing complex drum patterns and emotive melodies. With the news that Biotic Records (https://www.facebook.com/bioticrecords) are setting up and releasing again, I finally got the chance to complete my collection of the first run of vinyl from one of the most consistent, yet underrated, labels in drum & bass history.

Whilst everyone raved about Renegade Hardware, Outbreak and Cylon, Biotic sat back and released some of the best 2nd Generation Techstep out there. From the seminal Plankton to B-Key showing what was to come in his Scientific Wax days with the likes of Intruder and Element, Every single Biotic release had something for the darker heads in the dnb scene.

This mix is a 2 hour tribute to a superb label, with at least one track off of every vinyl release - with the exception of the Plankton VIP release, as I'd already got the original in. It also includes the Biotic remix of Dieselboy & Tech Itch's anthem Atlantic State.

So, if you like you dnb dark and techy, strap in for 2 hours of a true phenomenon.

b10burd3n hails from Sacramento, CA and is the Co-Founder of the Bass Music Collective Tech-Noid Systems. She started her DJ career in the dark and heavy dnb era of 2004. 

Since those early days she's played shows on several different stations; dnbradio.com, technodnb.com and jungletrain.net. 

Various influences can be felt in her sets, ranging from the dark and brooding sounds of Industrial and Metal to the flowing and syncopated rhythms of DnB and Techno. Ever evolving her style, she is always on the lookout for the newest tunes to bring to the masses.
