A vinyl enthusiast, great selector, promoter of deep, unobvious sounds on the Polish club scene for almost 20 years. Curator of event series IMPRO. Drugi odcinek serii podcastów Densiflory należy do Grażyny Biedroń - wywodzącej się z poznańskiej sceny klubowej, świetnej didżejki, selektorki, przywracającej wiarę w dobre house'owe brzmienia na polskiej scenie muzycznej. Ten miks to świetna próbka możliwości Grażyny w kontekście opowiadania muzycznych historii. Z jednej strony mamy tutaj różne odcienie house'u, od tych bardziej głębokich, zmysłowych brzmień, do parkietowych bomb, z drugiej strony zaś, wycieczki w stronę breakbeatu czy electro. A cała ta podróż po muzycznych nastrojach jest poprowadzona z wielkim wyczuciem i muzycznym smakiem.

The second episode of Densiflora's podcast series belongs to Grazyna Biedroń - from the Poznan club scene. In our opinion great DJane, selector, who restores faith in high quality house music on the Polish music scene. This mix is a great sample of Grazyna's skills in terms of musical storytelling. On the one hand, we have various shades of house, from deep, sensual sounds to dancefloor euphoric bombs, on the other hand, breakbeat or electro motives. And the whole trip through musical mood in this mix is conducted with great intuition and musical taste.

We are the musical platform, event series focused on deep, psychedelic, tribal, leftfield, dancefloor oriented techno music since 2018.

1st chapter of our new series of podcasts belongs to @johannes_de_leysen talented dj and producer active on polish club scene, representant of trainspotting and Sfora collectives. As a music producer, he has released three EPs on which he shows his personal approach to techno. So far, he has had the opportunity to share decks with, among others, Rove Ranger, Peter van Hoesen, Philipp Drube, Woo York and Remco Beekwilder.

Biotechnology ch. I - Johannes de Leysen

The third episode of the Densiflora podcast belongs to the co-founder of Densiflora - @axis_operandi. As he describes his mix: This is a sample of my capabilities when I present my more house-oriented side. To be more precise, you will find here both house and minimal or breakbeat. You'll hear my favourite motifs in this mix, organic beats as well as some kind of trance vibe, but I think the key word of this mix is deepness. I wanted to include a lot of warm up vibe, as well as conduct the story into slightly more ecstatic tones, but without losing the character of the whole mix. I'm not uploading a tracklist, but I can tell you that you'll find tracks by artists such as @thisisalpi, @lukea-sphere, @caldera-caldera, @tammohesselink, @alextea and @3kz for example. I hope you enjoy this mix and that it will put you in a soothing and happy mood at the same time. Enjoy!

The second chapter of the Biotechnology podcast series belongs to a unique figure on the Polish and beyond club scene. @alicja-aksamit , is certainly one of our favorite artists. And we are very happy to share this recording with you. Especially since it comes straight from the latest Biotechnology event with Aksamit, in Katowice Sixa, 10.06.2022. 

During the over 2.5h, the resident of Wrocław's @klubcialo or Berlin collective @art-bei-ton, spins a unique deep techno tale filled with magical, psychedelic or trance-inducing sounds. More than once surprising, yet constantly engaging tale. Let the music speak, let yourself be drawn into this velvet vortex....

Biotechnology ch. II - Aksamit

Episode 4 of the Densiflora podcast belongs to an exceptional dj, representant of the Wroclaw club scene - @mcjkzk As he describes, the podcast is filled with "sexy underground house music". We can add that if you have ever lost faith in house music, this podcast will restore it, as it is 2 hours of energetic, euphoric, sometimes trance-soaked, wonderful house music. Excellent stuff made up mostly of dug out gems. We invite you to listen to it!

Bio:

Maciej Kozak - DJ, digger and vinyl enthusiast from Wrocław, drawing inspiration from the music of the 90s. In his sets, he presents listeners various faces of unobvious house, trance and ambient music, at the same time taking care of the right atmosphere on the dancefloor. He runs a digger channel on YouTube, where he shares his most interesting musical finds with listeners (Late Night Workout - https://www.youtube.com/c/latenightworkout).

3rd chapter of Biotechnology podcast series belongs to @gary-holldman

Gary Holldman – private Szymon - Producer, DJ, co-founder of @internationaldayoff Records. Actual for over a decade on the scene. His first vinyl was released in 2010 on labels like Relax2000, Ware Records. In 2015, together with friends they founded dynamic working International Day Off label (cooperating with artists like Jacek Sienkiewicz, Michal Wolski, Sebastian Mullaert), which specializes in sound spaces from the borderline of the minimal and techno. Since 2017, he has regularly released on International Day Off and other labels. His music is presented and reviewed by such magazines as Mixmag, XLR8R, Magnetic Magazine, Decode Magazin and his track gain support and went to the cases of artists such as Sven Väth, DVS1, Âme or Marcel Dettmann . If you will hear Szymon live, visit Tama Club, where he is resident, although it is not the rule. It's worth being kept up to date because you can hear him in many interesting clubs. From time to time you can meet him on some worldwide capital such as Paris, Tel Aviv or Bangkok.

Gary's mix is a remarkable musical tale in which organic sounds function in symbiosis with detroit grooves and sci-fi loops. It captures the essence of our interest - the relationship between biology and technology in techno music.

The next episode of the Densiflora podcast belongs to @stroppy_pie Hailing from Belarus, the leader of a series of events, as well as the radio program Asaloda (aired on Radio Capital), she has
demonstrated in this mix an incredible ability to combine musical moods, as well as an incredible talent for telling dance stories. Tribal, trance, acid, minimal, deep house, electro, or a jazzy vibe -
you will find it all in this mix, and we're proud to share it with you, as part of our podcast series.

Densiflora podcast vol. 5 - Stroppy pie

Groove, consistency, minimalism - these three words reflect well the fourth episode of our podcast by @qbs . This gentleman needs no special introduction. Etapp Kyle, James Ruskin, Barker, Steve Bicknell or Efdemin are just some of the artists with whom he had the opportunity to share decks, and almost 20 years on the scene speaks for itself. The leader of the Impro series presents here a danceable and functional version of minimalist techno, recorded at the Cel club in July during one of the events. The tempo, especially in the later moments, can be quite intensive, but the building of atmosphere remains constant. There are many abstract loops, Detroit references. This is techno with soul and flair. Qbs, thank you very much for this exceptional recording, and you listeners are warmly invited to listen to it.

in addition to oriental-ethnic or techno sounds, Filip realizes himself as a minimal house dj. including e.g his Sofa&beats event project.  This mix it's a very immersive journey in which soft groove seamlessly transitions to trip vibes in some moments.  No matter what palette of emotional colors this artist serves us, the determinant is musical quality. The tracklist reflects well Deaf Can Dance's fascination of Romanian minimal.

Kuba, for that is his real name, became known on the Polish club scene as a man of good taste and great passion for technical music, functioning as a promoter and booker of the cult Wroclaw venue Transformator. For the past few years, he has also successfully realized himself as a DJ. As part of the podcast for our series, he presented a recording that is clearly characterized by its functional-dance nature. There are a lot of hypnotic, psychedelic motifs here, but the whole carries an uplifting atmosphere of the following tracks following the direction of ecstatic dance. Ankali's resident, specialist in hypnotic, psychedelic sound presented a true techno ceremony at our birthday party at K bar powisle, and we are very happy to share this recording with you in the form of a podcast.

The next episode of the Densiflora podcast belongs to INY. You could know him before under the MAL alias. As MAL normally plays techno oriented sounds, he decided to launch INY alias for softer directions of all kind of electronic music.  He is representant of the Warsaw club scene, a member of the densi.flora collective. Densiflora podcast number 11 is a recording with many genres. You can find there minimal, deep house, house, trancey house, electro and breaks. We hope you'll enjoy this small INY manifesto as much as we did. This is the first official set recorded by him under this alias. We couldn't imagine better premiere than this 2 hours quality sound story!

The next episode of the Densiflora podcast belongs to @Piotrn89 Piotr is Poznań based vinyl collector and electronic music enthusiast. He’s been an avid digger for quite a while, enchanted by the deep/tech house scene of late 90s' and early 00s', giving the praise to well known godfathers of the genre as well as looking for obscure and undiscovered artists and labels that for many years went under the radar. 
He's also the founder of a youtube channel (DeepVentureStudio) where he's sharing tracks from his records that are otherwise nowhere to be found. You can expect some of the tracks from this mix there as well! Prepare for an exceptional deep, warm up mix filled with house gems.

We are back with our podcasts series. The 10th chapter of Biotechnology podcasts belongs to @dukdatura Originally from Mongolia, but living in Warsaw, she is an very talented DJ  distinguished by her uncommon selection and technical skill. A member of the Drumaty and @IMPRO collectives, as well as the duo DUBS, which she co-founded with @qbs Duk loves to combine bass music, broken beats with techno. She finds herself especially well in deep and dub sound areas. All this can be heard strongly in the recording, there are also a lot of musical excursions into Detroit. You can feel the depth here, the rhythmic fantasy, and all this is served in a club-like, danceable way (the set, which is worth mentioning, was recorded during one of the IMPRO events). We invite you to take a journey through proper Leftfield & groovy techno with DUK.
