Any audio software is welcome to use to make your song. Make anything you like - no genres or approaches are out of bounds. Maximum length of your track needs to be 4 minutes (UPDATED FROM 5 MINUTES).
After 30 minutes please stop arranging your Speedcomp entry and listen back for a rough mixdown and render. There is no point using more than 30 minutes as this exists to see what one can do with a strict deadline to finalise a musical composition. There are no winners in Speedcomp.

The selector for Speedcomp 48 was DRILLBIT from Newcastle, Australia.

The ten chosen samples were published at 7:30pm AEST on Friday 17th June 2022 and we had 24 hours to have our track played on Thematics Radio's Speedcomp Special, which was recorded at SCHQ the night after.

The selector for Speedcomp 33 is RANK SINATRA from rural NSW. The ten chosen samples will be published at 7:30pm AEST on Friday 12th October and you have until the following evening to have your track played on Thematics Radio's Speedcomp Special.
PLEASE MAKE YOUR TRACK DOWNLOADABLE IN CASE THE INTERNET AT THE RADIO STATION IS DOWN.

You don't have to be awake or home at the time the samples are dropped, so feel free to make your track anytime over the next 24 hours to get on the show.

13/10 - Thematics Radio Speedcomp 33 entries played, as well as 30 minutes of RANK SINATRA tracks and various tunes of entrants to finish off the show.

For this round we are teaming up with the Flashback computer Party 2019 with EVYLZ, cTrix, Hedonist and others playing on Saturday 8/6/19 and all SC36 entries played at the event.
