A musical ode to the King of Monsters! With a little bit of a nod to BÖC’s awesome tuneage (which I recommend!) ..
On a lighter note - should one seek a less dramatic tune, yet enjoyable in an altogether different vibe, there’s Kesha’s ‘Godzilla’ ..
Addendum: I must also cite Pinky and the Brain’s Season 1 S1, Ep3 ‘Tokyo Grows’ as an inspiration …

Composed around the same time as ‘And Run!’, this piece combines a couple of genres and seems to land somewhere between psycho-thriller and def jam, with a slight nod to psycho-billy in the mix. Hopefully this tune finds a nice place in your head somewhere between the ears! Enjoy!

Written originally on guitar and including a third phrase, not present in this transcription - this piece has rattled through my brain for a long time. Always present in my mind, was a more orchestrated version. And while this version contains elements of that,; it also contains percussive elements, and a sonorous thermin-based melodic line to add some color, and variation. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy!

007 Remixed Not Shaken

And Lissom Sylph

Having run across the audio recoding (by Linda Leu) of a reading of this 1923 Pulitzer Prize winning poem “The Ballad of the Harp-weaver - by Edna St. Vincent Millay”; I felt it would make a good candidate for dramatic enhancement via an underlying score. I felt the poems’ pathos could be well reflected by an underlying current of chromaticism - which I hope serves the words well. I confess to having granted perhaps gratuitous embeleshment to the verbal reading, very near the end, and hope it’s not too distracting.
