Bio. 

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2004, he began his career as a DJ at the age of 13, and four years later as a producer.
He immediately identified with Progressive House, primarily influenced by Hernán Cattaneo and ZERO7.

Despite his young age, HECTOR CORTES's experience is solid, having performed his work on important stages and clubs in Mexico, such as Sala Urbana and Bar Américas, among others.

HECTOR CORTES has over 10 releases (including remixes, singles, and EPs) on various record labels, which have been supported globally by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Balcazar, Danny Tenaglia, Eelke Kleijn, Anthony Pappa, Miss Monique, Miss Melera, among others.

DIATOMS, his debut EP, reached the top spot on the label's sales charts on BEATPORT, being the first track included by Hernan Cattaneo in sets for his show "Resident" on January 1, 2022.
HORIZONZ, a track released on VA in 2022 on the English label Musique de Lune, was included in Miss Monique's annual mix for Protón on Spotify, becoming his first track to reach 100,000 plays.

Thanks to his hard work, perseverance, and dedication,
he has shared the stage with great artists such as
Hernán Cattaneo, Balcázar, Khen, among others.
