ジャズ、ロック、テクノ、ダブなど多様な音楽をバックグラウンドに独自の即興スタイルを探求するベース、ドラム、エレクトロニクスの３ピースバンド。ライブハウス、クラブ、美術館等さまざまな場所でのライブ活動と並行して、音源の制作を行って来た。シンプルな要素によって構成された楽曲が、３人のインプロビゼーションによって新たなサウンドに変貌する。

The three-piece band consisting of bass, drums, and electronics incorporates dub, jazz, techno, and rock elements, and seeks an original style of improvisation. The band has been performing in clubs, bars, and art galleries, while concurrently making its demo sound track. The band transforms its simple compositions into kaleidoscopic images and patterns through improvisation.

LAGITAGIDA is a super-powered attack instrumental rock band. 
This strange band name "LAGITAGIDA" is an original creation straight from the mind of the bands founders to emphasize sound, nuance, and rhythm. The band name features their stoic attitude, serious atmosphere, and unique sensitivity which blend these elements in perfect balance.
The members are certainly accomplished in their own individual careers. They are influenced by wide range musicians including Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Can, The Mars Volta, Battles, Metallica, Slayer, and Melt-Banana. LAGITAGIDA’s sound is intense. They encompass an intoxicating reflection of all their influences.

In April 2011, their first and long awaited mini-album “CaterpiRhythm” was completed.
The track that best embodies LAGITAGIDA, “Sensya”, is a memorable first song for the band and a great lead track for the album. LAGITAGIDA declared war on the indie rock world with this piece.

LAGITAGIDAは2010年4月頭に結成された。
耳慣れない奇怪なバンド名「ラギタギダ」は、響き、語感、リズムを重視して創られた完全オリジナルの造語であり、ストイックな姿勢とシリアスな空気感、ユニークな感性とハズしのスタイル、これらの要素を絶妙なバランスでブレンドさせるバンドの特徴を言い当てている。
それぞれ個性的なバンドで確実にキャリアを積み上げてきたメンバーは、Frank Zappa、Led Zeppelin、King Crimson、Can、The Mars Volta、Battlesから、Metallica、Slayer、Melt-Bananaまで、多岐にわたる音楽から影響を受けているが、ラギタギダのサウンドは、まるでそれらを丸ごと飲み込んで撒き散らすかのように強烈。
「コンセプトやテーマ、目指す方向性があってバンドが始まったわけではなく、このメンバーだから創る音、出す音が自然と決まってくる」。

2011年4月、待望の初音源となるミニ・アルバム『CaterpiRhythm』が完成。結成後初めて完成した記念すべき1曲であり、バンドを体現するトラック「Sensya」で幕を開けるこの作品によって、ラギタギダがインディー・ロック界に宣戦布告を果たす。

"Arakoi” is an epic instrumental band.
They have paved their own path as the sole band whose able to impress and shake the floor. Their signature sound could be most closely approximated between a rumbling dub and shoegazing, consisting of sentimental melodies made of melodica .
