Does anyone else feel like this song is kinda about the hunger games eg "when she whistles a song of hopelessness, it carries like a hymn" like the mocking jay call or is it just the fangirl talking??

The song peaked at #11 on the Australian Singles Chart and is certified triple platinum by ARIA with sales exceeding 210,000. The single was performed by the band at the 2010 ARIA Awards, in which the song was nominated for "Single of the Year" and it was voted #4 in Triple J's Hottest 100 countdown of 2010.
