Dandelion's Flight (disquiet0600)

I'm grateful to join in this amazing group and project. Congrats to Marc and everyone on reaching 600 weeks! I look forward to hopefully being a regular with you all. 

I used all but one of the wonderful samples by Marcus Fischer (thank you, Marcus), adding field recordings (a bird's nest fern being watered, the sounds of the Aurora Borealis), a bit of synthesis with VST goodies in Logic Pro, and a bit of a sample from the wild samplebrain, which I am still trying to get my head around.

[disquiet0601] No Dice

This is an experimental track based on the soundscape https://soundcloud.com/rabmusiclab/aankomst-amsterdam-zuid. 
In this original track a field-recording from an IC-train has been used as base and was transformed to a special soundscape.
Following the Disquiet Junto Project 0601 (details see below) six short sections were cut out of this source and rearranged to a new track, the number of overall repetitions of the different sections determined by throwing a dice.

the piece is based on morphing noises with precisely designed morphologies derived from chord transition between 24, 15, 19, 22 edo and my own non-octave scale which will be further developed in the next, forthcoming piece. for more info please, send me a message! feel free to ask questions.  :)

erased lines cartography (2018/2019)

this time I used Ableton to elaborate this musical idea, however the first with this daw, which I find very interesting on a functional level. shame about the workflow, but unlike cubase it is definitely designed for a live environment. as a first experiment not bad, I hope it is the first of a long series.
