Muting The Noise series

The first edition of the Muting The Noise podcast series is made by Aera.  It was recorded live at the Muting The Noise store, during the in-store party with Maeve.

Apart from his releases, Aera has made a name for himself with his intense and versatile live sets. But he is also a knowledgeable and versatile DJ, with a deep record collection and skills to match. In 2010, Aera started his own label Aleph Music, with heavy plays by the likes of Mano Le Tough and The Drifter. Shortly after, he released on Innervisions and is now part of the Maeve family. His release You know juno EP on the Irish imprint was heavily celebrated at our store.

Cologne based Peter Pardeike delivers the second edition of the Muting The Noise podcast series. 
His liveset features his upcoming collaboration with Marcus Worgull's - Trivia EP - due out June 01st on Innervisions and was recorded live at Heinz Gaul for their Trivia release party.

Birdy is a Barcelona/Paris based DJ. Initially influenced in 1989 by the U.R. parties in Detroit, his inspirations now range from Deep House to Techno. His style can be defined as eclectic, deep and uplifting with tribal, ethnic and percussive notes. Established today in Barcelona where he teamed up with Cerïmonia, a multidisciplinary movement and community interested in the possibilities of co-creation and the transformative power of music, dance, wellness, art, ritual and togetherness. 
As far back as he can remember, he has always been deeply moved by music. As a storyteller, he believes that beauty lies in contrasts and his sets aim to take you on a journey through dance and emotions.
