There’s a Birgit Jones in all of us: passionate, prone to ill-thought-out relationship choices and overenthusiastic about the colour black. If she were a genre, she would be Post-Glam-Doom. Or, as the amateurs say, „Alternative Rock“. Today she manifests as Berlin-based trio Nathalie Jones, Rike Jones and Kristin Jones, who will put on a spectacular show accompanied by hula hoop goddess and two times Guinness World Record Champion Dunja von K.
Founded in 2018 when Kristin and Rike met Nathalie smashing away at a drum kit two doors down from their rehearsal room, the trio united under a shared mission of playing their own version of drum and bass. That is a three-part audio recipe comprising badass bass riffs, bad to the bone drum beats and a wily songstress who scratches that itch you never knew you had.
With her first album along the way, Birgit more than knows what she wants and needs. That is for you to join her for a very special ride. Grab a beer and see you at the bar.
