After a great year 2023, Amber Recordings is starting 2024 with a real banger. A 3-track EP that has it all and will definitely delight all fans of slightly harder techno. We look forward to continuing to present a mix of new and established acts in the new year, and catalogue number 103 is definitely the latter.

He´s no stranger to the label and has already made a name for himself with several releases within the label group and his urge for darker, faster techno can be heard not only in his sets but also in his productions. That's why you can expect 3 techno productions here that are absolutely contemporary and sometimes minimalist, sometimes old school and sometimes playful. 

With the "Data Bell" EP, he shows his diversity and how he has increasingly found his sound in recent years, and that's exactly what makes it so exciting. Also and especially for us as a label. That's why there's not much left to say, except welcome back: Birkenlauber

A familiar face returns! Birkenlauber, an integral part of the Amber Family, is back on Amber Recordings after a year with his powerful 3-track ‘Yeah EP’.

No stranger to the label cosmos, he´s already impressively shown with his previous releases where his journey is heading. His penchant for dark, energetic techno is not only reflected in his sets, but also in his productions. We met the Chainsmokers 3 years ago when they Dj'd a warehouse party we threw in Brooklyn. They played for $500, which at the time was about half their normal rate….. I imagine now that wouldn't buy us an autograph! (just kidding) We really loved their latest song "Let You Go", so we reached out for the acapella to do a remix, and here it is!
