A journey through relaxing sounds of deep house, picking up pace whilst travelling through a variety of soulful and groovy selections, reflective of Danny´s time here in Peru and as a member of the Rosse Records family. A 1st in this series exploring local and international talent around the historical inca capital of Cusco.

This mix presents house selection from 2000-2006 by legends like Matthias Tanzmann & Gamat 3000, Inland Knights, Rulers Of The Deep, DJ T., and others.
It blends warm Y2K nostalgia with surprising electronic experiments, inspired by the iconic "Erotic Moments in House" albums from Dessous Recordings. 
I wish one day I could find one of those on timeless vinyl.

Creating this mix felt like living through the early seasons of Sex and the City, during the golden years of house music (in my humble opinion). If I should translate these sounds in a scent: leather, sunscreen, glossy magazines, and bubblegum. Although I missed 2000s party years, I’ve made it my mission - to rediscover and share.

Label based in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain).
From Tech House spreading the concept of what is electronic music made to dance and enjoy from the Canary Islands for the World.

It begins as a label in mid 2010, and later that when he debuted in the top and main digital stores, where you can enjoy your references.
Six Sound Records founded what some young canaries with the aim of bringing their sound fresh, contemporary and pure groove to national and international electronic music scene in the world today and the future.

The label is currently preparing its return to the scene after a period of inactivity:

Since 2010 we started this adventure, being a new and unknown record label, just like its founders, without sponsors, without help, all based on hard work, perseverance and passion. We have taken this idea as far as possible during all these years. With many ups and downs, personal inconveniences of the owners and A&R, that many times prevented us from moving forward. Then there was a global pandemic that shook the very foundations of life as we knew it.

On this long road, artists have passed through here who today are more than established in electronic music, who are part of this and of the effort that goes into creating a record label from the lowest and most humble level in this scene.

Continuing with the most up to date of a list of which we are proud, being many of them regulars editing in this label. To all of them and to those who are still fighting for their dreams... THANK YOU.

Now it's time to go back, and to put everything we have learned in the past to good use. It is time to return to the essence that put this label in the spotlight. Renewed energy to face the new present and future that is to come (and new instagram account, we were hacked). With parents who really loved the music in the 70’s / 80’s it wasn’t really complicated for Joel to fall in love with the music genres of these periods. As a kid for him it was a bunch of years to search and discover through the gigantic records collection some of the most fantastic and rare masterpiece of these decades. Nowadays these memories bring back a new kind of creation for him.
Music lover, DJ, producer Joel is active in the electronic music genre for more than 15 years.
All has begun with The Badgers back in 2002 with two second hand Technics turntables. He was party manager of big electronic music festivals in the east of France and after that he started to produce some dark techno / minimal tracks with his best friend as The Badgers.
After numerous music productions during more than 10 years in the dark techno / minimal branch with the Badgers (Creepy Finger Rec, Plankton Repellent, Momentum League, Killing Machine Rec. and many more) Joel decides to make a solo project to explore the another creative side of his personality, deeper and funkier.
“Nasty Preacher” is the new born of this choice.
“Nasty” was how some people portrayed the music his influences. “Preacher” is a nod to James Brown.
There is only one objective, to create a good workout for your hips…

Danny Rhys is a UK underground House & Tech House artist and works within the A&R team at the renowned Toolroom Records. Releasing on some of dance music’s notorious labels such as the mighty Toolroom, HouseU, Flashmob LTD, Alex Preston’s Basement Sound and DJ S.K.T’s Stashed Music to name a few. Boasting high, feel good energy, bumpy basslines, rolling percussion and infectious vocals in every track, Danny’s music is ready for the dancefloors and clubbers alike. Danny’s monthly podcast ‘Straight From The Record Box’ showcasing the best in dance music is listed in the Top 10 Best UK Left Wing Podcasts of 2021 which is a huge honor to be recognised as a tastemaker in the scene. 

Notorious for his energetic performances using the full potential of what the decks can offer, Danny involves every floor groover with the emotion of fusing all sub-genres of House music! Having taken stage across Europe's most notable clubs and venues Danny has performed at the infamous Amnesia Ibiza, Kalypso (Elrow) Croatia, We Are Festival, Ministry of Sound, Egg LDN and that’s only to name a few. Having opened for Mark Knight, Tough Love, Leftwing : Kody, Seth Troxler, Danny has since joined the #ToolroomFamily performing at their London residencies at Ministry Of Sound & Studio 338 in which the label is predicting big things for Danny Rhys.

Lisette’s music taste varies through minimalistic beats to hard grooves. House rhythm DJ with a passion for digging hidden gems. ✨

Being active in the electronic music scene since 2022, Lisette performs in Tallinn, Riga and Tbilisi, on both commercial and underground stages. 
Since 2024 she also runs community and event series Planet Groove Estonia.

You can hear her playing Deep & Groovy House,  Minimal & Deep Tech or Organic House, and you will always recognize the accent on active drums, acid tunes, hypnotic vocals.

Since jumping behind the decks, Leah has become a key player in Australia's deep, progressive & melodic house scene. Playing iconic venues, festivals and events across Australia, Germany and beyond. Her passions lie with the deeper sides of underground house & techno, which connect with the mind, body and soul.

JoJo's name can be associated with many high end electronic music groups in Estonia. Piidivabrik, I Land Sound, Black Box & Elektröönika to name a few. He likes to play highly energetic sets full of groove that are at the same time loaded with emotions. At just 22 years old, JoJo has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the scene, including Ben Böhmer,  Township Rebellion, Mees Salome, Eelke Kleijn, Sainte Vie, Tibi Dabo, Nico Stojan, Nils Hoffmann, Tim Engelhardt, Ante Perry, Audiojack, Eats Everything and Chris Lake. JoJo has made his first steps in releasing his own productions. In the year 2025 he released two official tracks and a handful of remixes. Still, a lot is yet to come.
