Papi Shiitake sounds like morning in bed on the beach. Cold on a summer afternoon, singer Papi Shiitake creates stories of optimistic isolation on top of 60’s inspired dreamscapes. 

The Brooklyn artist is back after his diverse and spry EP ‘Quarantine Dream’ last year. As the first European release, ‘Born As Lovers’ delivers sun-soaked, nostalgic melodies that shine over Motown-inspired grooves while Papi Shiitake croons and asks the world to ‘love each other’.

‘Haydee’ is the second single of 'Selva y Mar', a psychedelic description of an everyday-grocery run if you live anywhere in South America.   

With an arpeggio of hypnotic synthesizers, followed by an endearing bass guitar, tribal drums, velvet guitars and Tati’s misty vocals. This is Haydee’s video, psychedelic footage,  animated in an intuitive way, with no defined technique, in an exquisite artistic collaboration with Oscar Tillman (Thunder Tillman).

Singer and multi-instrumentalist, Sinqa was born and lives in Paris. He writes, records, and produces all his music himself. This LP is a way for the artist to assess his feelings about our world, about universality and humanity through the themes of the self, spaces and hopefulness thanks to indie tunes. The easygoing melody and iconic guitar riff in ‘Better’ will accompany the wandering spirits, those struggling to find their place. It is a promise of warmer days, a mood booster for sure!
