Greetings! Glory to God for this timely recording for our generations; it served well when the Apostle Sherrod preached it, and since it has been traveling through time, it serves whoever will hear. He tells how the devil has given everyone religion, and how people will say “I have mine”. Bishop SC Johnson being led of the Spirit brings our attention to the “one way” and how to run lawfully to obtain the prize. 

This lawful way caused the apostle to be hated, which he will speak to on this sermon. 

“And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.” 1 Kings 22:8

Now, dear saints and new hearers, the message is made widely available for our learning, and it is sound for all who can understand what holiness is about; and for those who want to know or will listen to even get a glimpse of what we stand for, you’ll be well informed about how the people of God must go after the things of the Spirit. He will encourage us not to be focused on our looks etc, but fast and pray to get in the Spirit.
