Criso, a relatively new name to Dubstep, not only in the UK but also in America, delivers the “Make Some Noise” EP on Mala’s DEEP MEDi.

“It wasn’t until 2021 that I started getting into dubstep, actual dubstep.”

Bootlegs, EPs and mixes gained early attention from the likes of Skream, Mala, Hamdi and live shows supporting Of The Trees, EPROM, Truth and Ternion Sound + more soon followed.

Criso’s 1st UK release features verses from Pav4n and Rakjay on “Strictly Business”, originally a Strategy bootleg, as well a co-production with the mysterious Crastinate on “Dialed”.

Coming in hot we’ve got another Rewind140 exclusive premiere, this one courtesy of Manchester based producer DES0. We’ll be taking a look at the title track “Speedway” that is forthcoming on DES0’s debut on Jah-Tek entitled “Speedway EP”. The track opens up with a subtle but dark intro, before dropping in some of the heaviest drums I’ve heard this year. Full snares, rolling hi-hats and heavy sub pressure make this one an absolute sound system smasher.

Hailing from Helsinki in Finland, Physics has been busy for years producing, DJing, and running his own music label, Midnight Sun Recordings. He is looking to release music that's genuine and has done so since his first release back in 2003. His productions have been released on the scene's most seminal labels including Metalheadz, Liquid V, Hospital, Fokuz, Formation, MAC II and Secret Operations just to mention a few. His productions have seen dj support from the likes of Randall, Goldie, DJ Storm, Bryan Gee, LTJ Bukem, DJSS, Pendulum, A.M.C and many more. He is constantly pushing music out on his own Midnight Sun label and is also working on an artist collaboration project called "Midnight Sons" together with long-time companion Christian Champagne. In the studio, he has previously worked with names such as S.P.Y, Alix Perez, Seba and Phil Source (Source Direct) and XRS.

DJing wise, Physics likes to play the whole spectrum of drum & bass and he likes to build sets that take the listener on a journey. You can be sure to hear dubplates of him and his peers in his sets that are always oozing of soulful deepeness but still maintaining a dancefloor edge to them!

My clubby track "SQUEAKY TOY" is ready for the dance floor! Inspired my breaks and club music, this song makes deliberate use of booty bass, sound design and a little humor.
