Hourfirend is a 34 years old producer, he started producing in 2022, born and raised in Canada. He has released 3 eps so far. One on Widdfam and two on Rewind140.
He is involved in the hand-built sound system culture, they host shows with 21" paraflex subwoofers.

Next to join the Jah-Tek catalogue, we have the privilege of introducing Manchester based DES0, who, after years spent absorbing the scene and refining his technique, delivers a debut EP packed with soundsystem pressure, raw aesthetics and modern drum flex.

The EP opens with ‘Shlam’, winding up with drawn-out, ghostly atmospherics before dropping into a dubstep anthem - fortified with 2006-era energy, recharged by drilling kicks and grunge-toned minimal synth lines.

Up next, ‘Scorth’ builds into a fiery grime pit, where eerie melodies weave through heavy 808 blasts, and silk like percussion drifts over haunting, spectral grime textures.

Closing the release, ‘Speedway’ stands as the EP’s powerhouse title track, driven by a relentless lead and thunderous sub-bass that tear through with fierce, rupturing force.

Speedway EP drops on the 1st of August exclusively via Bandcamp, followed by its full release on the 8th of August on all major platforms.

Mellon’s latest EP, Brutalism, sees these influences gathered and shaped by personal touches; atmospheric textures and dextrous rhythms sit across 4 tracks that balance playfulness and brutality. The release marks another potent step forward for Sudo Sound and Mellons impressive Discographies. 

Also included in this release is a collaboration between Mellon and Dub Head. Hailing from Kiev, Ukraine, Vitalii, known as Dub Head, is a founder of Cybernetic crew with releases on Transparent Audio, Sofa Sound, Sauce Recordings & Dispatch; he is devoted to creating a unique and captivating sound in the world of Drum and Bass and beyond. His link-up on Mellons latest project brings 'Allergy' to the release, another example of why Dub Head remains one of the front runners in the scene.
