Nerang Recordings boss Dj Whipr Snipr readies his debut ‘Occasions Of Patience‘ LP, landing on the freshly minted Long Life Label imprint this April.

Having released on labels such as clipp.art, Yung Dumb Records, and his own Nerang Recordings, the Australian DJ/producer now turns his sights to the new Chilean imprint Long Life Label for his first album, the inaugural release from the label.

With energetic vocal-led tracks such as ‘Powered Down’, ‘Unbroken’, and ‘Legacy’ sitting alongside dusty lo-fi tracks such as ‘Why Do You Make Things So Hard’ and ‘Dedicated To The Kool’, the LP shows the Australian artist drawing together disparate styles and moods for a cohesive and thrilling listening experience.

From the pounding ‘Polaroids’ through to closing track ‘Bad Neptune’, Dj Whipr Sniper showcases his wide-ranging influences on the twelve tracks across the album, covering the sonic grounds of techno, new wave, hip-hop, acid house and beyond. Hailing from the Gold Coast, Australia, Dj Whipr Snipr has been running the Nerang Recordings label since 2016, championing music from P.Leone, Dj Bowlcut, DJ Swagger, and more.

On our third-year anniversary, we are stoked to launch ‘Yellow Island Various Artists 2021’. The compilation brings new faces to the label and features artists from different countries around the world, allowing each artist to express their own essence.

The Unlimited Mixx was originally recorded as a bam up for a certain tech house 'legend' who was offering to shed their 2 cents (for the fee of €35). Now subsequently #cancelled due to certain members of the scene calling them out (shout out RA for saving our scene) before the feedback could be supplied, the original mix lay feedback-less* and dormant - with the exception of a couple Hasenheide UE-BOOM excursions - until now, mastered to reel to reel and complimented with a somewhat more club friendly version on the algorithmic 'flip'.
