90's Kylie fans I know you've been asking for some new remixes from me! It's that time again when I've been busy producing our show mixes for our Bar Kylie shows and we all knew immediately after seeing the Tension Tour that we needed Steve Anderson's new version of 'What Do I Have To Do' in the show. Here is my interpretation of his epic new mix, extended for club play and ready to pump loud! Oh and you'll notice the iconic 'Between The Sheets' sample in there... :D

I'm a big fan of the band, and when the new album came out I instantly fell in love with it. Afterglow was the only stripped down track, which was perfect for me to try and make a remix with. Not the easiest of course, as there were no parts to work with, but I think I got it pretty good. Maybe someday I'll have the parts????

Into The Blue - project s7even (electric astronaut productions)

This track always got one of the best reactions on myspace from fans when we put it up. It was one of the first slower tracks we did and has a very warm synthpop feel to it. 

I remember starting this track trying to draw upon more influences that I was listening to at the time and I got the main synthline and bass and thought it had a good vibe to it. I also at the time began producing in ableton which I still produce in to this day because it had a great workflow and was inspiring to use. 

At the time myself and John were working on some instrumentals together so when he came up to my studio we arranged it and John added the chorus melody which was really the icing on the cake. We also added a little muted guitar riff courtesy of Johns virtual guitarist plugin at the time. 

John then took the track away and wrote the lyrics. At the time he was drawing upon experiences of a troubled relationship and this came out in the lyrics. It was one of the first songs where I feel his writing started to mature and really started him on the path towards writing songs such as home which you can find on our other official page.

Bispatial is synthpop and electronic music lover, Paul Keen who is heavily influenced by the Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Erasure and the master of synth-pop himself, Vince Clarke.

Bispatial has produced and remixed a variety of other artists in addition to recording his own original material.  He is currently working on his debut album alongside collaborating with Niels Blume as Androgyne, as well as fronting 80's-inspired electro R&B outfit Jupiter Jaxon & The J-Stars.
