Today I have the honor to premiere an artist that I deeply respect, releasing on a label with a special place in my heart.

Mary Yuzovskaya is a vinyl only DJ, producer and a label owner, with more than 15 years of experience and presence in the electronic music scene. Her life journey is one with many and exciting chapters. The beginning of her music career began in Berlin in the early 2000s, continued in New York in 2013, and made a full circle back to Berlin with her latest relocation in 2020.

She has toured the world, showcasing her craft and undeniable love for vinyl, which has certainly touched many minds and hearts. In addition to her success as a DJ, Mary’s talent and dedication have brought her becoming a producer with releases on labels such as Semantica, System Revival, upcoming Kvalia Records, and her very own Monday Off Records. 

For the 6th release of the Swedish Kvalia Records owned and curated by Linny Hex, Mary leaves the realm of the deep hypnotic techno, and surprises the audience with a more percussive and stripped down EP consisting of 3 dacefloor oriented techno cuts. The B1 - Schlaf is the track premiere of the EP, which is a strong statement of the recent mood of the artist, and conicidently the sound direction of Kvalia at the moment.

Hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece, Alpha Sect is a project of George McCall, which is focused on breaking electro patterns and pumping body music with serious punk influences. He started his music career as a guitarist in the post-metal band Sleepstream with 2 albums on their track record and he is an active musician with participations in physical theatre performances with his side-project. KHIDI Records presents Holy Mess Chronicles, a full-length album by the club’s long-standing resident and one of the key figures in the local electronic music scene, Achi Tabukashvili, also known as Vulkanski.

Holy Mess Chronicles is a poetry of remnants, an urban time record where plastic melts beneath the sun, metal breathes rust, and synthetic dust clings to concrete. Episodes shift like chemical reactions — dissolving, breaking apart, and fusing together.

This accidental harmony of fermentation strangely weaves itself across techno territories.

BITE is the Berlin-based techno label co-founded by Hayden Payne (aka Phase Fatale) in 2018. Beginning with the debut collaborative EP by Silent Servant & Phase Fatale, the label aims to platform artists who operate outside the conventional preconceptions of techno and are united by an ambition to push the boundaries of electronic music. This drive is further exemplified by regular showcases at renowned institutions Berghain, Basement, and Tbilisi’s KHIDI as well as a multitude of clubs throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
