Ahead of the Krake Festival in Berlin this coming weekend, we're excited to bring you this special edition mix from one of the fest's headlining artists. Founder of Rotterdam's Pinkman records alongside its three offshoots Mindri, Broken Dreams and Charlois, he also ran a beloved record store at the beating heart of Rotterdam’s creative district, and co-founded Rotterdam's online radio Operator. What his work has in common is its ability to form a community out of a disparate group of outsiders with bravado. As a DJ, Marsman wants to make you dance with your head held high. His sound evokes a retro-futuristic euphoria. Nostalgic without being stuck in the past, it fosters the return of songs to the club; of sex, warmth and basslines to the dancefloor. Not confined to any one genre, expect to hear some of the best outsider sounds and infectious tracks from across wave, body, italo and well beyond. I

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Belaria. The French artist has made waves in her country's music scene with her captivating blend of EBM, Italo Body Music, New Wave, and Techno, infused with echoes of 80s and 90s post-punk. In 2021, she became the first woman to win the Producer Day competition, thrusting her into the spotlight. The following year, she released her debut EP, "Boost & Doubts" on Friendsome Records, expressing her journey as a young artist. Belaria's momentum continued with notable releases on labels like RAW, Ritmo Fatale or WARRIORECORDS. Today we're thrilled to bring you this dynamic journey through her sound.

Superstition Records proudly releases Nineties Reloaded – Superstition Classics Reimagined, an authoritative anthology of the legendary 1990s catalogue of the label, updated for contemporary floors and ears. 

Here, in a 20-track anthology, era-defining trance, techno and progressive tracks are revisited with a carefully curated set of remixes by some of the genre’s most iconic names, spanning the pioneering era of European club culture and the future direction of contemporary electronic music.

At its very centre are two solo standouts:
L.S.G.: “Netherworld (BLR X Hel:sløwed Remix)” – A peak-time anthem for 2025, combining BLR’s dark, propulsive production and Hel:sløwed’s euphoric progressive subtlety to re-envision one of trance’s most enduring classics.

Energy 52: “Café Del Mar (Oliver Lieb Extended 2 Remix)” – A decades-long secret reworking by none other than Oliver Lieb himself, emerging from the vault for the first time and presenting an atmospheric but forceful new take on one of electronic’s greatest ever songs.

These are followed by remixes from Humate, Der Dritte Raum, Trancesetters, Sterac, Rabbit In The Moon, Radio Slave, DJ T., Jamie Anderson, John Tejada, Goldfinger, Force Mass Motion, and Bedrock, used on Superstition’s impressive roster: Quazar, The Moon & The Sun, Jens, Marmion, Mijk van Dijk, Phax feat. Steve Bug, Velocity, Paragliders, and many more. Each track stands as a testament to the visionary sound of the label, be they in spacey progressive excursions, stripped-back techno reworks, or deep ambient reinterpretations.

BITE is the Berlin-based techno label co-founded by Hayden Payne (aka Phase Fatale) in 2018. Beginning with the debut collaborative EP by Silent Servant & Phase Fatale, the label aims to platform artists who operate outside the conventional preconceptions of techno and are united by an ambition to push the boundaries of electronic music. This drive is further exemplified by regular showcases at renowned institutions Berghain, Basement, and Tbilisi’s KHIDI as well as a multitude of clubs throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

With a vast artist roster from stalwarts such as Ron Morelli and Teste to contemporary talent from the likes of Pablo Bozzi and Gael, the eclectic variety of releases touches upon a range of styles along the moodier fringes of electronic music. BITE has proved itself as the imprint to watch. Fresh off the heels of their 5 year anniversary in 2023 culminating in the acclaimed triple LP compilation ‘Shedding Skin,’ BITE moves into more dancefloor territory with their next releases by label head Phase Fatale and remixes by Rrose.
